"The Fury and Dark Reunion" by L.J. Smith (The Vampire Diaries books 3 and 4)

****
Elena: transformed, the golden girl has become what she once feared and desired.
Stefan: tormented by losing Elena, he's determined to end his feud with Damon once and for all-whatever the cost. But slowly he begins to realize that his brother is not his only enemy.
Damon: at last, he possesses Elena. But will his thirst for revenge against Stefan poison his triumph? Or can they come together to face one final battle?
Just so its clear. I really enjoyed this book. The hatred and love between the vampire brothers amazes me. Especially over Elena. Something though, the tv show is nothing like the books. And I enjoy both. I am looking forward to the next read from the vampire diaries and I will get it soon, hopefully. Until then,
XOXO,

"Dead In The Family" by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book ten)

****
A Fae War has left the supernatural community of Bon Temps, Louisiana, in chaos-and waitress Sookie Stackhouse mentallyand physically drained. And still, the peace and quiet she so desperately craves is hard to come by...
Even with the blood of two vampires in her system, Sookie is having trouble healing from the terrible torture she endured at the hands of her great-grandfather's enemies during the brief but deadly Foe War. Worse are the emotional wounds-sepecially over the loss of her own personal fairy godmother and the near death of her first love.
Sookie is hurt and she's mad. Just about the only bright spot in her life-besides the fact that she is, after all, still alive-is the love she thinks she feels for vampire Eric Northman, who is under scrutiny by the new vampire king because of their relationship.
As the political implications of the shifters' coming-out are beginning to be felt, Sookie's connection to one particular Were draws her into the dangerous debate. And, unknown to her, though the doors to Faery have been closed, there are still some fae on the human side-and one of them is angry at Sookie. Very Very angry...

Zomg!!!! Now I have to wait to get the next one!!!! Loved it!!!! Eric you have to feel sorry for... Such a handsome Viking vampire. Great story line. Great writing. Kept me on the edge of my seat!!!! Soooooo can't wait till the next one.

"Dead and Gone" by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book nine)

****
For Sookie Stackhouse, the day-to-day activities of the campire and Were communities in and around Bon Temps, Louisiana, are of vital interest. She's blood bound to the leader of the vamps, is a friend to the local Were pack, works for a man who is a shifter, and has a brother who is a werepanther...
But for most of the humans in Bon Temps, the vamps are mysterious, seductive creatures-and they don't even know about the Weres,
Until now. The Weres and shifters have finally decided to follow the lead of the undead and reveal their existence to the ordinary world.
At first it seems to go well. Then the mutilated body of a werepanther is found in the parking lot of the bar where Sookie works. The victim is someone she knows, so she feels compelled to discover who-human or otherwise-did the deed.
But what she doesn't realize is that there is a much greater danger than the killer threatening Bon Temps. A race of unhuman beings-older, more powerful, and far more secretive than vampires or werewolves-is preparing for war. And Sookie will find herself an all-too-human pawn in their battle...

Holy marriage!!!!!! Lol. Poor Quinn, ill come comfort you big sexy. Charlaine is awesome. Totally unexpected happenings. Not gonna leak. Totally loved it. Review would have been finished last night, but was too tired. Love love loved it!!!!

"Definitely Dead"by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book 6)

****
Since Louisiana cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse has so few living relatives, she hates to lose one-even her cousin Hadley, unread consort of the vampire Queen of New Orleans. Hadley's left everything she has to Sookie, but claiming that inheritance has a high risk factor. Some people don't want her looking too deeply into Hadley's past, or Hadley's possessions. And they're prepared to do anything in their power to stop her. Whoever it is, they're definitely dangerous-and Sookie's life is definitely on the line...

Holy crow I want to see Quinn in real life. Purrrr. Okay so as usual plenty of adventure, suspense, and hot descriptions. Loved the story line. Leads to me going nuts to start reading the next one.... O m g. Did I mention that I am loving Charlaine Harris? Sookie is amazing as usual. Bill....give me a stake....please.... Eric....poor Viking, still smexxxxxy though. And the Norris werepanther....creepy...though since he first came in the story I've thought he was too....creepy. Anyway...loved it!!!!

"Dead as a Doornail"by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book 5)

*****
Small-town cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse has had more than her share of experience with the supernatural-but now it's really hitting close to home. When Sookie sees her brother Jason's eyes start to change, she knows he's about to turn into a werepanther for the first time-a transfomation he embraces more readily than most shape-shutters she knows. But her concern becomes cold fear when a sniper sets his deadly sights on the local changeling population, and Jason's new panther brethren suspect he may be the shooter. Now, Sookie has until the next full moon to find out who's behind the attacks-unless the killer decides to find her first...
"He bent and kissed me on my mouth, as softly as a butterfly's fluttering."

"Dead to the World"by Charlaine Harris(A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book 4)

*****
It's not every day that you come across a naked man on the side of the road. That's why cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse doesn't just drive on by. Turns out the poor thing hasn't a clue who he is, but Sookie does. It's Eric the vampire-but now he's a kinder, gentler Eric. And a scared Eric, because whoever took his memory now wants his life. Sookie's investigation into who and why leads straight into a dangerous battle among witches, vampires, and werewolves. But a greater danger could be to Sookie's heart-because this version of Eric is very difficult to resist...
"If there were an international butt competition, Eric would win, hands down-or cheeks up. He would get a large, large trophy."

Wow. A bloody battle!!!! Poor Eric, but in his current condition Charlaine Harris makes you fall in love with him. O_o. Loved the book... yep totally awesome. Same sookie, ready to tear everyone apart. Amazing character.

"Club Dead"by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book 3)

*****
There's only one vampire Sookie Stackhouse is involved with (at least voluntarily) and that's Bill. But recently he's been a little distant-in another state, distant. His sinister and sexy boss, Eric, has an idea where to find him. Next thing Sookie knows, she is off to Jackson, Mississippi, to mingle with the under-underworld at Club Dead. It's a dangerous little haunt where the elitist vampire society can go to chill out and suck down some type O. But when Sookie finally finds Bill-caught in an act of serious betrayal-she's not sure whether to save him...or sharpen some stakes.
"Eric sat up against the headboard. The silk boxers were royal blue. He spread his legs and I could see up the leg hole. Oh, Lord. I had to close my eyes..."
Can I say fun, scary, and another totally hot supernatural being????? Geez!!! Total amazement. This woman can write and write awesome! What an adventure. Just so u know I read this in 4.5 hours..yes a new record for me. Omg. Loved it!!!!!

"Living Dead In Dallas"by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel book 2)

*****
Cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse is on a streak of bad luck. First, her coworker is murdered and no one seems to care. Then she's face-to-face with a beastly creature that gives her a painful and poisonous lashing. Enter the vampires, who graciously suck the poison from her veins (like they didn't enjoy it).
Point is, they saved her life. So when one of the bloodsuckers asks for a favor, she complies. And soon, Sookie's in Dallas using her telepathic skills to search for a missing vampire. She's supposed to interview certain humans involved. There's just one condition: the vampires must promise to behave-and let the humans go unharmed. Easier said than done. All it takes is one delicious blonde and one small mistake for things to turn deadly...
"Eric gave a long moan as I sucked, and I felt the bullet pop into my mouth...it's hard not to respond when a master of the art of kissing is laying one on you. And I might have let myself enjoy it-well, enjoy it more-if I hadn't been so worried about Bill..."
Love love loved it. More wonderful visuals of saucy vamps((drools)) O_o  Sookie was as punctual and a fighter as she could be. More of the supernatural beings, not giving away too much, though what an awesome feeling for Bill and the end. Amazing!! Begining book three in a bit. Until then....

"Dead Until Dark" by Charlaine Harris (A Sookie Stackhouse Novel, book 1)

*****
Sookie Stackhouse is a small-time cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana. She's quiet, keeps to herself, and doesn't get out much. Not because she's not pretty. She is. It's just that, well, Sookie has this sort of "disability." She can read minds. And that doesn't make her too dateable. And then along comes Bill. He's tall, dark, handsome-and Sookie can't hear a word he's thinking. He's exactly the type of guy she's been waiting for all her life...
But Bill has a disability of his own: he's a vampire with a bad reputation. He hangs with a seriously creepy crowd, all suspected of-big surprise-murder. And when one of Sookie's coworkers is killed, she fears she's next...
"I'd been waiting for the vampire for years when he walked into the bar."

Gasp!!!! I think I am officially hooked. Charlaine Harris is amazing!!!! I've got a book crush on Bill!!!!! Lol. Great adventure and action wrapped around mystery. A must read to anyone who loves the whole paranormal/vampire stuff. Looking forward to book two!!!

"Forbidden" by Megan Curd (The Guardian Chronicles book 1)(E-book)

****
Levi's job is to protect his human until it's their time to go. That's what a Guard does. He's done it for years on end, and he'll spend his eternity doing the same, mundane thing, following the same, mundane rules.
    ...Watch from afar.
    ...Never share your name.
...And above all, never touch a human.
What Levi doesn't know is that his newest human to protect, Hannah, just might be the catalyst to tipping the scales between good and evil, and he will be forced to decide which side he belongs to. Which friends will he side with, and who will he ultimately protect: his human, or the delicate balance that hangs on stopping the heartbeat of the person he has sworn to protect?
And when your already condemned, what's there to lose by breaking the rules?
The Guardian Chronicles: Forbidden will take you into a world of Guards and Guardians, Light and Darkness. What side will you take?
...It was the first time she'd seemed peaceful since this entire fiasco began. I felt so bad for everything I'd put her through. Was it right of me to keep her past her time?... "I won't leave...I will stay beside you and watch over you until the end of time, no matter what the cost." Levi I praise Megan Curd. This was an awesome read. Wonderfully romantic. Original storyline. What a description of characters, events and places!! I loved it and I am waiting to see what happens next. Must read!!

"Summer's Crossing" by Julie Kagawa (Iron Fey) (E-book)

****
A midsummer' s Nightmare? Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existance-and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and another girl stole both their hearts.
Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot  without Puck's help-into the heart of the Summer Court. And Puck faces the ultimate choice- betray Ash and possibly win the girl they both love, or help his former friend turned bitter enemy pull off a deception that no true faery prankster could possibly resist.

"...she looked like she was going to a party where the theme was Most Sparkly Evening Gown, or maybe Quickest Way to Blind Someone..."

"I'm afraid I've lost something...Something I prize most dearly. Something that cannot be replaced. I would like to get it back." Leanansidhe, Queen of the Exiles.

Very entertaining. Love Julie Kagawa's writing. So easy to read and follow and what an awesome short story. Puck shows courage and he knows where his loyality is. Ash is just as courageous and determined to complete his favor and return to his original quest. A romantic ride to the girl they both love.

A must read if you follow and love the Iron Fey books.
